    the streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up.^(B)

⁷     also the plants^(A) along the Nile,
    at the mouth of the river.
Every sown field^(B) along the Nile
    will become parched, will blow away and be no more.^(C)

⁷ The burning sand will become a pool,
    the thirsty ground^(A) bubbling springs.^(B)
In the haunts where jackals^(C) once lay,
    grass and reeds^(D) and papyrus will grow.

    the marshes set on fire,^(A)
